I have thought about this too. I was once considering a bike with an electric motor and lithium battery. Some of them recharge going down hill.

Also a trailer is a good thing.

I also like the idea of an electric powered bike with a trailer. If you are going to pull a trailer it wouldn’t hurt to haul a couple of extra batteries on the trailer.(Remember, a horse can pull more than it can carry.) Not to forget that since you have a trailer it also wouldn’t hurt to have a large as possible solar panel on the top. It looks to me that a mid-drive motor is the strongest type for this type of transportation. You Tube has TONS of electric bike, different motors (front wheel, rear wheel and mid-drive) as well as trailer designs. Also the bikes that use an electric motor to turn a small wheel powering the rear wheel are also worth a hard look. Dollar for dollar it is only beat by a horse or a burro BUT you have to feed them and if SHTF and you DON’T have pasture you might have a problem.

I sent mine in and got the new trigger. I don’t worry since mine is NEVER loaded until I get to where I am going to shoot. I load one round at a time and ONLY when I am ready to shoot. Actually I NEVER need the safety. Load and wait. If I’m going to move on I unload. That’s just me.
