Hey ReadyMom……

You can get one for NC here…

http://www.visitnc.com/free-travel-publications

It only lets you order one, but I’ve done that three consecutive times, and got all three. These are new maps, just published this year, with 22 regional and city insets, including the Blue Ridge Parkway. I picked up a few more at a rest area and sent to some out of state relatives.

Oh, and while you’re clicking on a map…..why not order the NC Winery Guide. Just in case….you know. I’ve recently visited a winery to study as a possible BOL

Dirk…..we have the same reading lists………

The original Velvet Revolution was in Czechoslovakia in ’89. I was prepping for a PCS move from what we still considered “West Germany”. Fast times, indeed! The entire Eastern continent was moving. Got my piece of the Wall, though.

The Chinese book you refer to is “Unrestricted Warfare”. As you said, not exciting, but necessary if we are to understand our enemies.

I had not heard about this….easy to check on the web site though. My 700DM is too old as well…..1997. You can use the serial number or just look at the trigger…..if the trigger face is ribbed, it is not included in the recall. Thanks for the info.
