President Bush sight the original bill in 2004, since then there have been a couple of admendments to the bill. I worked for the department of justice, 10 years as U.S. Marshall and 15 years in the Federal Bureau of Prisons and they all claimed to be innocent.

Yes you’re correct on the PICS check, I’m used to saying NCIC check, went threw one every year for 25 years as a federal law enforcement officer.

Many people don’t know this, but if you are currently a law enforcement officer or a retired law enforcement officer, you do not need a permit to carry. President Bush signed into law after 9/11 a bill called the law enforcement officers security act (leosa). My retirement ID is stamped LEOSA, allowing anybody with that stamp on their ID to carry in any state in the U.S., no permit needed.

$2.00 for a back ground check, heck I paid $5.00 several months ago, I guess I got ripped off.

Hey Photon, did you check out www.pennswoods.net on the guns?

Oh, AuntBee, we live in a wonderful state when it comes to gun laws, our county sheriff wants everybody to own guns. Another county just north of me has armed volunteers to help the sheriff’s office in emergencies, this was at the request of the sheriff.

Yes, except for the moron Governor and the extra taxes he wants to put on the people, we live in a wonderful state, move on down.

Photon, look under www.pennswoods.net, rifles/shotguns, you wouldn’t believe the weapons you can buy without any back ground check/transfer. Some of the stuff, the seller wants a back ground check for some AR’s/AK’s.

I have two gun safes full of AR’s, 5.56/.223, all the same make and model, about 65/30 round mags and 5/75 round mags and never got a back ground check on any of those weapons, Pennsylvania is one h-ll of a great state, a h-ll of alot better then the three states on the left coast and NY. –

You must be talking about getting a carry permit in PA. To buy guns in PA all you need is a PA driver’s license and once you’ve been a PA resident for 30 days you can buy all the guns you want.

Yes Photon I agree with you on the carry permit, that’s what I was talking about, but in order to buy any gun, shotgun, rifle, pistol, you still need to go threw a NCIC check, and you pay for that check (if you buy from a federal licensed fire arm dealer. If you buy from a private individual (shot gun/rifle) you do not need a NCIC check).

I have purchased many, many rifles/shotguns at flea markets and private individuals, can’t be traced backed to me.

Also this includes black powder weapons, including black powder pistols, no check, no permit, I have many rifles and pistols, no checks at all and no permit.

While, the Little Fat Dorm Refrigerator, (LFDR), tried to launch another missile today, 5:21 p.m. EST yesterday our time, but for some reason the missile EXPLODED on the launch pad. No tweets from President Trump yet, hope it stays that way.

I saw on the net., can’t remember where, that the U.S. has hacked into some of North Korea’s military computers and that’s why some of N. Korea’s missiles have failed in one way or another.

Well, China is not taking any coal from N. Korea (for now), they told N. Korea not to test any more nuclear weapons. China said they would cut off their oil supply also. I guess Pres. Trump got through to the Pres. of China.

N. Korea said they still plan on a nuclear test this weekend. Vice Pres. Pence will be in S. Korea this weekend. My bet is, since V.P. Pence is in S. Korea and if N. Korea tests anything, all bets are off and I bet that Pres. Trump will seize the moment to hit N. Korea from the south and from the sea of Japan with the Carl Vinson strike force. I guess we’ll know within 48 hours.

What do you think?

Like BK said, a 22 semi can give you problems and the only time this happens is when you need it the most. For a first or reliable 22, I would look at a revolver… S&W, airlite’s – in a 22 are nice but pricey.
Glad to see you back

I picked up a walther p-22 several months ago, ran about 350 rounds through it, good shooter, no jams (so far), the wife loves it.

We nether removed Congressmen or Senators that pushed laws on us then turned around and exempted themselves from those laws which violate our Constitution . So Yes; You and me are to blame for not watching and protecting our nature heritage.

We are our own worst enemy, and we don’t even know it. We set by and let them create Homeland Security, and now we are almost in a police state. It takes every American to stand up and make those we elect do what’s right for this Country and its people. I feel it may be too late, Trump is fighting an uphill battle, and without the American people behind him, he will fail. Its not those we elect that makes this Country great, its the people in it and there are too few of us left.

Mostly we now have are; mommy’s boys and Daddy’s girl beating the drums of war. But one thing for sure, if and when met with strong opposition, they will flee. They have never been tried or measured, and if they had, they would be found wanting. A nation is only as strong as its people. And we are not strong right now. Evil rises every time we stop watching what’s going on, but we are only getting fat and lazy, with our hands out for something we think is free. Nothing is free, you either pay now or later.

Cadit

Yes Cadit, very well said. I’ve been saying for years, including on the APN, we the people have put these people in office and the only way to change that is to vote them out of office. We are now a welfare state and a police state. A lot of people want everything free and don’t want to work for it. But then you have people that work two jobs to make ends meet.

We are too focused on other countries problems when the U.S. has many, many problems of their own that we do not correct. I’m too old to let the BS bother me anymore, but feel bad for my kids and grandkids, they are the ones that are going to feel the real brunt of this failing country.

Bee, you got to have friends, relatives, etc. that have pistols, ask them to let you shoot them, see how you like it.

I agree that a .22 doesn’t have much take down power, BUT I’m darn sure I don’t want to get hit by one, it will cause the aggressor to have some serious pain and wish they were dead.

Terrorism & other Man made disasters • Syrian Air Strikes

April 7, 2017 rickdun 0

Well, President Trump doesn’t take any s-it, he ordered air strikes on Syrian military targets. The USS Ross and USS Porter fired 59 cruise missiles while we slept last night. Chuck “faucet face” Shumur, Nancey “poo poo” Polocey, Russia and Iran are now in an up-roar over the missile launches.

I guess President Trump is taking care of Obozo’s failed red line. I think this is just the beginning of what’s to come ’cause talking to Syria and Russia has not worked and it’s time to take care of business, there’s no need for chemical weapons to be used on anybody. Russia said this has a bad influence on Russia/U.S. relations.

Looking forward to hearing what the other nations and the UN think about the strikes since they only condemn the use of chemical weapons and do nothing about it.
