Well thats just too bad . If you scroll around you will see or be liberal PC snowflake blind that I have never once used derrogatory language until it was used against :o me. And then chose to ignore it until one poster continued to smear it my way. Hit me? Go ahead I hit back. It is the American way. Ban me from commenting or asking questions? If that happens be assured my dont give a damn meter will never glow.
And after the light review of previous posts it appears this is a very small group of members that enjoy the pat on the backtype answer more than a deep in depth discussion per subject. You stand out loud and clear as the loudest douchebag slimey slit on the forum. Stick this joint up your twat and give it a good ol twist. You will enjoy it hun! :floppytongue: Cum at will and do a little screaming while you are at it. Wipe up the mess too. You made a reference to a great hand gunner in a post , there has only been one person that used that person as a reference to me and i take that as a complement . How is the weather in FL , you still dressing in BDU’s , with that steel pot on your head . :D

If you own one be very careful.

I’ve got a Remington 700 in .375 H&H Magnum and I am aware of the recall although my Remington did not fall within the range of serial numbers that were recalled. I’ve never had it misfire although I do have a problem with the floor plate popping open whenever the weapon is fired and so I’ve taped closed the plate. As of now I would not buy any Remingtons. I have lost my faith in Remingtons and I do know they used to make really great products but as of recently they’ve been putting out junk. So I would steer clear of them.

Yeah that sounds really serious. Put a decent price on it and let me spend an hour to remedy that terrible problem since you wish to steer claer of those horrible Remingtons hahaha. First off send me the serial number to get started. Decent price and checks in the mail!

Condescend much?

In this particular case. Only until you show me dissenting views from professionals showing Im not correct. 22 vs 38 Spl handguns for self defense. No self acclaimed qualifications from the unknown.com peanut gallery either. Im referring to true professionals. Massad Ayoob, Jeff Cooper, Chris Cheng, Skeeter Skelton, Walt Hasser, Elmer Keith etc etc

But he damn sure knows many more shots are complete misses or non-lethal wounds in gunfights. The crappy “a well placed 22 will” and “a 22 is all one needs” is for kids. When it comes down to protecting ones life a 22 is the poorest of any cartridge to count on. The nice lady should rethink her choice and its a true mans job to tell her so. Patting her on the back for making a bad choice is the worst favor that she could receive. She should ask the qualified opinion of LE officers or military personnel who have been on the line.
On all honesty Mam. This crew of misfits have steered you wrong. You can do alot better. And I do most sincerely wish YOU the best.

I may not be the smartest cookie in the jar, but remarks like that will get you nowhere fast on this forum.

After reading BKs wisecrack to me I couldnt care less. What is this forum anyway? A place one may make suggestions or is it limited to a handful of old timers who are given preference due to seniority? My thoughts are clear and precise. And followed up by the original poster commenting how she has a Mini 14 and a 12 ga shotgun. That alone tells me enough to know she is perfectly capable of handling a 38 Spl in a situation where her life is on the line. That fact being clearly established Im quite sure my opinion would be backed up 100% by professionals worldwide. When given the opportunity between a 22 and a 38 caliber handgun for self defense the 38 wins hands down. Anyone wishing to further this discission against that philosophy please do so. After all the only ignorant fool dissenting from the 38 over 22 fact will be you, yourself. Have at it cowboys. My advice remains solid!
And sure a 22 beats a frying pan in a gunfight. Most of the time. AND I know many of you trust your 22. Good you can keep it! Mine are for squirrels and stray dogs and cats!

Excuse me I MISTAKINGLY thought this was a forum seriously interested in INFORMING the others of seriously needed info. But it appears to be more tuned in on appeasement and jokes. My bad. A very sad situation indeed!
Whats next the insistence of an air rifle for anyone suffering a hearing impairment?

Anything less than 38 caliber is not a defensive handgun round in my opinion. That being said and so very justifiably. Smith, Colt and Ruger all have much to choose from. 38 Spl leaves something to be desired but its adequate for most cases. Dont settle for less.

It appears Obamcare will be voted on again. Its already a dead deal and barely holding on. Lets hope the President takes it out once and for all!
Perhaps someone can direct as to how to post this on a politics or medical section. Why is so many sections ” LOCKED”? Issues such as this need publicity from normal folks like this forum. I didnt realize so many sections were shut down before logging on. Thanks!

Except for a handful of 700s its a mute issue. Many manufaturers have recalls. Ford, Toyota, GM, Sony etc etc. I own several dozen 700s and have no plans to demonize a weapon that has always served me and mine 100%. Will continue to follow the 700/870 route till the end of time! Anyone wanting out drop me a line on any 700 in excellent condition. Barrel condition and chamberings are not an issue if the price is right.
