Obama may have tried to act like a dictator, but he wasn’t. Not by a long shot. If he were, Trump wouldn’t be sitting in the White house & this discussion wouldn’t even be happening. As for Trumps tweets? What you’re getting is just His version of the Truth. May be true, may just be a twisted view of the truth, may not be truth at all. His words aren’t any more golden than anyone else’s words.

I find it interesting that people get so twitchy at the notion of being Objective. I’m not going to argue over it.

he wasn’t a dictator? …. just because the democratic system wouldn’t allow him to continue his reign? …. because he couldn’t completely take over the military to the point of a coup on the country? … the question isn’t whether he was a dictator – acts & facts prove that out – YOU need to present some proof that he WASN’T a dictator – since he continues his reign thru the backdoor – that’s almost impossible ….

Trust me. I’m not saying anything positive about Obama. Nor will I ever. I wasn’t even claiming the man is mentally stable. I simply said more stable than Trump. Why? Because he can hold it together and keep it behind closed doors. Trump can’t or won’t. His Twitter account is one example.

And I will state for the record that I truly wish conservatives would take a step back and at least try to be more objective where Trump is concerned. I’m not condemning the man, but he’s no one’s savior any more than Obama was for dems. I seem to recall conservatives faulting dems for the same behavior. Even the best leaders have their faults, some worse than others.

The American populous has got to lose this “all or nothing” attitude or our leaders are just going to get worse & worse because we’re going to keep making the same mistakes over & over again.

One thing I heard from an ‘expert’ interviewed on The Blaze, was we’d have 12-18 mos before anything significant happened (at least that’s what I thought I heard … I was listening while riding in the car  ). I wish I could upload that Blaze program it was VERY informative. Helped me to get a better grasp on the current concerns. -k

That’s because I was up till nearly 2am and got up late, this morning  . We’re visiting our soccer-player-son, in Texas. It’s going to be 104, down here, in Texas (vs cool Penna temperatures for April), so I’m going to find something cool to do, before game time, tonight. It’s not my fault the voters voted in two of them in a row. While I greatly dislike Obama, I have to say he was more mentally stable than the current occupant in the white house. I can’t say at this point either of them are much different in decision making. Trump hasn’t been in office long enough to give him a fair shake down.

As for the drills………I know they take planning & budgets & lots of coordination. I’ve taken part in them. That there are disaster drills doesn’t heighten my alertness, they happen all the time. That it is for something rather specific, nuclear attack, is what got my attention. They’re usually just generic disaster type themes. This country has not worried about a nuclear threat in many decades. Now suddenly we’re having nuclear disaster drills. Yup. That’s going to cause me to stop & consider why. And the theme could’ve have been made more specific within a short time frame as it still would involve the same people & much of the same equipment just some detail alterations & a more specific focus.

I think the danger lies in a societal collapse whereas everything that is produced by electricity in mass becomes scarce; i.e. commercial farming, commercial water supply, gasoline powered equipment, etc.

if an enemy attacks the US with an enhanced nuke device – the concentrated destruction will be on the same level of a major solar flare – they’ll be looking to knock out protected gear buried in Cheyenne Mountain and elsewhere – it takes power to override the protection … there won’t be much left that’s unprotected or moderately protected …

Hopefully that’s enough if NK’s weight challenged leader  really does have an EMP device….

Oh, and I sealed my last trash can faraday cage with aluminum tape, again same reason. Other cans had been sealed for months, but last one had battery packs that I charge periodically. Sealed for now, until latest crisis blows over or the balloon goes up.

Heading to market on way home to top off some canned goods I used this weekend. I want to be as buttoned up as I can be for April 25th, since it’s a military holiday for NK.

you should go to steel wool instead of the aluminum tape – having to replace it everytime you access the Faraday Cage …. in a SHTF with EMP/solar flare potential you’ll be in and out constantly ….

Surely it will be different this time “we have Safe Zones” and we will not return to normal human behavior! I am certain the “In Betweens”, as well as women and children will be treated as they are now in all areas of conflict!

One BIG difference in those areas of conflict and here…in those areas, the average person (female or otherwise) is NOT armed, and therefore hove no good way to defend/protect themselves. Here, on the other hand, quite a few women are VERY well armed, and know darned good and well how to use those arms. Especially in my area.

the very few women and angry tough old people that can take care of themselves will skew the percentages ever soooo slightly …. it’s still the old and the young dying off …. females will die in bigger number than males – it’ll 5-6 guys or more per surviving female

an EMP and a solar flare (Carrington Effect) have similar results/damage – but are totally different …. Mother Nature has more potential than man can even muster in a nuke – she can throw back the entire world a couple of centuries in a second – then follow up with an even worse hit …
